I ordered the 12 mm beads. They are pretty large. At this size, these would definitely be the feature beads in whatever you are making. They are milky white, but have kind of a greyish or green tint. They are not translucent but they are not opaque. They do have a shine to them and they are almost pearlescent. They have opaque white bands through them and are very smooth.
If I had it to do over, I would order a smaller size. The 12 mm look a bit chunky for my taste but luckily there are many sizes to choose from. With the right project, these would be stunning.
