I like that this lights up to allow enough light to come between the magnifying glass and your jewelry. It’s an LED light so it will not get hot. The light also eliminates the shadow that normally appears when trying to magnify something.
I own 3 different loupes because I buy a lot of jewelry. This one is my favorite due to the quality and design.
